I am a Location Sound Recordist with almost 30 years of broadcast audio experience.
I started my career working in a small production company, where I gained invaluable experience in all aspects of film and television production. I soon moved to the West Midlands, where I began to specialize in location sound recording.

Having worked on numerous corporate and broadcast productions I proceeded to work on a regularly basis on major TV dramas as a Sound Assistant. This led me to becoming a highly proficient and respected Boom Operator, and during the 1990's I worked throughout the UK and Europe on major TV productions such as Queer as Folk, Taggart, Grafters and Clocking Off, as well as feature films such as The Avengers, Event Horizon and Tomorrow Never Dies.

Since 2003 I have operated as a Location Sound Recordist, working on a wide range of projects for corporate producers, independent production companies, ITV and the BBC. Recent credits include (second unit recording on) the feature film Wolfman, the BBC's Building the Great Pyramids and a series of commercials for CNN shot on location around the world.

I have a wealth of experience of high quality broadcast drama, documentary, and corporate production. Energetic and extremely adaptable to the needs of any situation, I can always be relied upon to deliver high quality sound recording.

I love a technical challenge, whether it's recording an interview under the Heathrow flight path or ensuring a Red camera works in the desert!
